LUXUS Carpet is an active member of Care & Fair, an organization that fights against child labor in the carpet industry and improves the living conditions of weavers and their families in the carpet producing regions of Pakistan, India and Nepal.
Care & Fair is an initiative of European carpet manufacturers, and represents a joint commitment by those responsible for this sector to responsible manufacturing and trade.
Care & Fair seeks to impress upon manufacturers, through cooperation and partnership, that Western buyers will no longer accept products that are child labor or other products produced under socially unacceptable conditions.
The Care & Fair association was founded in September 1994 and today has around 400 members in 21 importing countries and 3 producing countries.

Abolish child labor in Pakistan, India and Nepal Improving living conditions for weaver families Guarantee socially responsible production: members want goods to be produced under socially acceptable conditions Assume our social responsibility and adopt an exemplary conduct in the world Currently, Care & Fair supports 13 schools, 7 adult education centers and 6 day care clinics in Pakistan, India and Nepal.
